Tilex bathroom cleaner spilled into a box of cutlery, and not noticed for a long time. How should I clean them
Also got a bit in the corner of a box of spices – thinking that I should toss them out (all 25 bottles!) because don’t spices absorb moisture?

Simply hand wash and rinse the cuttlery very well. Tilex is mostly bleach. The spices are probably best tossed, unless the were in sealed bottles.

Toss the spices and wash the cutlery and maybe even soak it in cold water to help wash it off, cold rinses things off faster. Dishwasher detergent contains bleach so it’s not a huge deal.
