How do you store your old vinyl record albums?

I am looking for a solution and am not able to think of many options. Has anyone used or seen a good system for record album storage? I want them in my home available at my fingertips.
Thank you… I guess you can only get SO creative with such a thing!

I have had mine stored for decades in cardboard boxes – vertically – and these are stored at a storage facility. It’s all concrete and brick, so there is no heat to damage the albums. I placed the boxes on steel shelves. In case water somehow leaks into the storage unit, I don’t want the boxes sitting in standing water.

The key to storing vinyl albums is to store them vertically and in a cool place (to prevent warping) and in a dry place (to prevent molding of the box and jackets).

I should probably keep them in something that’s bug-proof, though (like a Rubbermaid container). Roaches and silverfish eat cellulose and starch (the key ingredients in paper and glue). If that place ever had an infestation, they would shred the boxes and jacket liners.
