How do I clean my walls without leaving streaks?

It’s gloss paint and I tried cleaning it with water and now it looks all blotchy. It’s driving me crazy!

I just did my bathroom last night.
Depending what color walls you have, I have white.
So I take a bucket of very hot water, and add a little bit of bleach to it, and use a sponge mop, and it seems to work very well.
Now on colored walls I use pinesol and a mop. The pinesol doesnt eat through the paint, and gets them very clean.
When i’m done washing a take a dry sponge mop or a towel and wipe over the walls to dry them off, that way the dont spot and streak up.
    Good Luck

Can use any mild cleanser to wash walls, it is the technique that you use to keep it from looking blotchy. Use a rag dip into the cleanser and wring out well. Start at the bottom of the wall and work your way up. Do not start at the top and go down, this causes drips and runs which leaves marks on the wall

murphy oil soap, make sure to wipe it back off with a lightly damp cloth, and it smells so good.
