How much does a company usually charge to clean houses which have been newly built?

An opportunity to do contract work for a construction company has arisen. They build residential houses and contract people out to clean the homes after they are built and before the buyer moves in. How much does a company usually charge to do this type of cleaning? I believe it is done by square footage.

I’m not sure what to quote my service at. What do you think?

Yuo should charge by the hour. I own a cleaning company and have found that you will cheat yourself if you charge by the square foot because even though the houses are newly built they will have thier own amounts of dust and time requirments to clean. Also, charging by the hour allows you to do exceptional work without having to worry about saving money by completing the job faster. We send out two people and charge for the crew and our hourly rate includes us bringing all supplies and equipment so i’ve considered that when setting my hourly rate.
